Haven't done any walking this week due to the weather. I just can't get into walking inside and my apartment isn't that big. I have been outside clearing snow (like the 13 additional inches we got today that we weren't supposed to get). So there has been some activity going on.

Hi Christy and ohelp I ended up taking 2 rest days this weekend...I was so sore from the workouts last week! I'm planning to get right back at it today!

Christy - Shovelling snow is a strenuous task! I think you should give yourself some miles for that!!!

ohelp - Thanks for starting this check in! It really has kept me motivated!

Didn't get in a workout yesterday, my back and shoulder are really hurting. I thought I was just sore from my workouts, but I think something was out. I ended up going to the chiropractor this morning, so hopefully that will settled down and I can get back to business. In the meantime, I'm planning to use the exercise bike until I ready to do something more rigorous again...hopefully in a day or so!

I managed to get in 60 minutes on the bike today...maybe I should have been counting minutes since I don't actually track miles. I guess I'll just keep counting the way I have been....so my total is up to 56.2 which leaves 93.8 to go!

Got in a 45 minute cardio workout today. 15 minutes on the elliptical...then my shoulder started hurting, so I switched to the bike for 30 additional minutes of HIIT. Burned an nice 417 calories and brought up my total distance/minutes to 60.7 which leaves me with 89.3 to go by Easter!

Good job ohelp! Glad to see you making more progress towards your goal! You're almost at the half way point!!

It's unlikely I'll hit my Easter weight goal at this point, but I'm determined to hit my distance goal! My shoulder is feeling much better than last week, so I should be able to up my distance again this week.

Now I am really getting going. This is part of my farm work and I will keep a daily tally sheet and enter it each day.

30 half shed lengths equals 1 mile.

So far 2.6 miles over a few days, but as of today it gets intense.
