Well team....the numbers are in...we're 7 weeks into the challenge and we're at 53% of our team weight goal! This is great progress! We've got 6 weeks left....will we achieve the group challenge of losing a collective 200 lbs.?!?!!

Some of you are getting very close to your own personal goals! I'm not one of them, so I'll cheer on those of you who are making good progress! This does not mean I'm throwing in the towel...I will not go down without a fight! I'm going to continue to do my best even if I don't hit my personal goal.

Is it possible to post my WIs on Saturdays for this challenge?

I weigh daily, but only post my Friday number here because that's the day the data is collected. For my own purposes, and for the other challenges I do for myself, I use Saturday's numbers as "official".

I have noticed a pattern that I'm often bummed by my Friday numbers, when I post them here. Saturdays tend to be the lowest day of the week for my weight. It's because I workout hard on Wed & Thurs, rest Friday and get plenty of sleep before my Sat morning WI.

Fridays rarely reflect well because I'm recovering from my workouts.

I know that the general downward trend will be what counts, but for my sanity, and for continuity to my personal "official" day, may I just post numbers on Saturdays instead? If it's not too inconvenient - I know there are often a few late additions, so I just want to explain why I may be one, weekly.

If this is okay for you, please disregard my post yesterday of -0.2, and swap it out with a more accurate loss of -2.6

I have updated my stats in the chart - Thanks!!

Hi Roxy Sure, by all means, post your weigh in on Saturdays! I'll just wait until I see you post to tally the final numbers...no biggie. Congrats on your 2.6 lbs. loss!!!

With Roxy's additional weight loss this week, that brings up our group total to 54% of our team weight goal! Thank you Roxy!

Hello all! I know I'm posting my weight a day early....but here's the thing. The scale keeps going up a pound or two, then back down to 141.4 (that was my weight again this morning)...but I seem to be stuck at 141.4 and it's discouraging me. My plan for the next four weeks is to stick to my exercise rotation and macro plan and stay off the scale completely. I'll weigh in on the final weigh day of this challenge and hopefully by then I will have busted through this plateau and can save myself the discouragement...which often derails me completely! I will keep up with you all here and continue to post the group achievements until our final weigh. Hopefully more people are participating by then!

That was a hard won .6 pounds with a 4,638 calorie deficit this week. Either my metabolism is slowing, I'm putting on some muscle, or I'm not tracking accurately.

Debbie - Good idea with the not weighing in till the end. I think that takes more willpower than staying on a diet and exercise plan

Well, I'm way up this week. I haven't been good this week with exercise or tracking my food and I find that really effects my weight loss/gain.
