Sorry I've been away everyone. I am sick and unfortunately been having vertigo (it happens sometimes when I have sinus pressure), so sitting at the computer is no fun and I have been napping a lot. Today the bouts are coming and going so I'm trying to sneak between bouts.
I didn't weigh this weekend due to guests, but I've weighed since Monday. I haven't been eating much since then (I came down with it Sunday afternoon) and it shows. I haven't gotten much workouts done - it's been hard enough getting my grading done as it was due Tuesday. Feeling really worn down and frustrated.
Guests this weekend were very fun. At least the sick waited until the day they were leaving. I adjusted goals a little bit for realism.

It has been so long since I had a regular cycle and even longer since I have weighed every day, but now I can see that even though I am extremely premenopausal, I am still having those monthly hormonal rollercoaster rides. I can't blame it on ham or excess sodium because I don't have that in my daily diet anymore.
On the bright side, people are noticing the difference in my size.

Totally blew my eating plan yesterday and today I got back to my walking after 8 days of not walking or exercising at all. Walked 5.22 miles today. Felt great and I'm not as sore as I expected to be. I guess soreness and pain can be a little bit mental (though not entirely!).

I weighed this morning and I'm down to 307! Weight loss is slowing down some but at least it's pretty steady. I'm thrilled for any weight loss. I'd love to be down to 300 by Halloween and 275 by the end of the year. I'd like to lose at least 12-15 pounds a month, but 10 pounds at a steady pace after I reach 275 sure would be awesome. We'll see what I get to by the end of the month.
Arthritis has me sidelined as far as exercise goes for awhile. Knees are painful and very sore. I have a new walking as exercise dvd I can't wait to try. Arthritis--go away! Vicki
