Hi all Checking in with my workout of the day and my weigh in. I lost .8 lbs!! May not sound like a lot but I'm extatic about it!! I was expecting a gain this week, so I'll take it!

12 Weeks, 84 days...84 workouts
Week 1, 7 Days total - done
Week 2, 5 Days total - missed 2 days this week

Week 3, Day 1 - yes

Libby - Great job getting in an evening work out! You ar feeling better aren't you!!!

pgoodal - Welcome!

I'll check back in later to see how my fellow Friday weigh-er-inners are doing!

Libby im sorry the scales wont act right....but continue the fight don't give
up....I bet you are losing inches.

Week 3 Weight 167.3
Day 1: 30 min walking, Christmas shopping 3 hours.

My clothes are fitting looser so I must be losing inches. I will have to take my measurements again.

Another great week for us all!

Libby - I know you've had a rough week not feeling well, but you finished strong. Take measurements but also take pictures periodically. I had never tried that before, but I have (this time around ) and I'm amazed how I can see the differences more than it shows on the scale.

Becca - Another couple pounds down! What's your secret?

Looks like baxtman has abandoned ship?

Checking in with a workout...Day 25 fo the 30 Day Challenge. I'm almost at the finish line! Can't wait to see the final results. Wonder what I should do next?

Libby, looks like the storm is bypassing you and headed straight to me! It's -30 with the windchill and we supposed to get up to 20 cm today. I wish I could just stay indoors all day, but not such luck! Lots of running around to do.

We have enough snow that I decided I needed winter boots. The scale is still making me mad. I am up a half a pound this morning. 167.9 My calories were 1139 and I exercised. I just don't get it.

The roads were slippery with all that new snow. It looks like Christmas.

In your signature, I see you've already lost 27 lbs. What did you do to lose that weight? Are you doing something different now? For me, I was stuck at 133 and bounced around there for several weeks. I upped the intensity and length of my workouts and it seems to have got the scale moving again. I have also put on some muscle which boosts the metabolism as well. I see you like to walk. Have you tried Leslie Sansone exercise dvds? There walking workouts but she adds in some other exercises to up the caloric burn. Here's a link to some of her dvds in case you're interested. At that link, you can see previews and read reviews. If these workouts appeal to you, you can find them at Chapters and you can also probably find some at your local library.

My calories were under 1200 and my weight is up to 169.7 this morning .
I could tear my hair out. Should I cut back even more on my calories?

Libby I can completely understand your frustration. Did you see my last post about the Leslie Sansone dvds? If you want something different than that, I can certainly make other recommendations.
