Hi all. Our phone internet and cable have been out for 3 days so I couldn't check in. I was baking with my son yesterday and had to taste everything.
Store bought just doesn't compare to home made. I am bowing out of the challenge but will start fresh in the new year.

Hi Debbie: I was ready to throw in the towel till New Years but I thought I better get my A$$ in gear and see what I can do to ward off weight gain.
You are not alone. Today is blue zone 20 minute walk. Have a great day and I hope you had a Merry Christmas.

I got some 5 pound hand weights for Christmas and am looking for exercises to do with them. Any suggestions?

Yay Libby!!!! Yooohooo!!!

Thanks for sticking it out with me! To be perfectly honest, I'm terrified to get on that scale tomorrow. I know the scale will be way up...but I also know that it will most likely be water weight. Just eating a little different than I normally do and not drinking enough water will do it! BUT...there's a BUT...I'm so glad to know I'm not doing this alone!

Plus, I still have 4 days to get off the water weight before NYE...tall order! And if I still haven't reached my goal, no biggie...there's always January

Bicep curls, hammer curls, angled out curls, bent over tricep extensions, overhead tricep extension, shoulder presses, lateral raises, front raise, plank rows...I can go on and on!

Have you ever considered getting some fitness dvds? That way you can follow along with the workouts and learn some moves and proper form to do with your new hand weights. What kind of stuff do you think would interest you...yoga, pilates, something more upbeat?

Hi Deb. I am going to look on line for weight lifting dvds or books. Can you recomend any for women that you use? This is the next step in my weight loss journey.
