I did my second work out and my calories were under my limit. Now I have to drink more water. Good day.

Hi all! Checking in with a 40 minute HIIT workout...the first in my new 30 day challenge. It's also weigh day and I'm down another 1.4 lbs which makes me 1.4 lbs. to my New Year's goal. Will I make it!??!?! I'm going to do everything I can to hit my goal....and if I don't reach it, I'll know I did all I could do and that's that!

Week 4
Day 1: 30 min walking
Mi coach isn't working right so I am going by the treadmill numbers. My heart rate was beyond red zone 137 bpm. I will try to walk again tonight.
Good job on the weight loss.

Libby - I'm surprised that at 137 bmp you're in the red zone? I use a Polar Heart Rate Monitor which I find to be very accurate. My heart rate ranges from 150-175 bpm once I'm warmed up and into the workout. By the red zone, I'm assuming you mean you're heart rate is too high? Is this according to Mi Coach?

If you workout in a lower heart rate range, it's said that you'll burn more fat during the workout. However, if you workout at a higher heart rate range, you'll create an afterburn effect and continue to burn fat and calories for hours after a workout. You may want to reconsider your red zone. However, having said all that, if you're comfortable and will only stick to working out in a lower heart rate zone...stick to what feels good! By all means, I don't want to discourage you!

11 more days until New Years Eve...which means 11 more days to put in the extra work to reach our New Years goals! Even if we don't meet our goals, let's go out fighting! AT least that's what I plan to do

Wow Becca! You're down another 2 lbs this week! Great job! Seriously, what is your secret....what are you doing to drop 2 lbs. a week? I'm going full out and lucky to lose a pound a week...not that I'm unhappy with that! I'm very happy to get the scale moving again after it bouncing up and down for several weeks.

Checking in with day 4 of my new 30 day challenge. Hoping to do doubles as many days as possible this week in hopes of hitting my NYE goal. Only 9 more days! Not to mention the challenging few days sprinkled in there with Christmas holidays. I have to remind myself this is why I started this challenge was to keep focused thorugh the holidays....a time when normally I would have gained weight...well not this year!
