Cherries weighed with or without pits?
Should I weigh cherries on the food scale with the pits still inside, or should I cut out the pits and then weigh them? I always slice cherries in half and then cut out the pits before I eat them so I don't have to keep spitting out pits and it's more pleasant for me. I can also eat them with a fork that way in a fruit salad.
Someone told me my calorie count might be off because I've been weighing the fruit after I cut the pits out to calculate the calories.

Ok thanks, I really don't know what that means. "The yield from however many ounces you weigh out". So if I measure 5 ounces, will that tell me how many calories are in 5 ounces of just the fruit part?
