Default Is quinoa THE superfood as advertised?

Quinoa is considered the new favorite of nutritionists and dietitians. It is loosely termed as the new superfood but what it there to this pseudo cereal that everyone is raving about it.
Personally, i find its taste bland and found out that it has a lot of carbs. Any way I can turn it into a better tasting snack?

It does have carbs, but also protein and fiber (and other good things). It makes a nice pilaf. Recently, I had some quinoa-sweet potato cakes from the breakfast bar at Whole Foods. Use it instead of rice for some dishes.

Thanks Kathy. I've had the taste problem resolved, by making a Quinoa Pizza.
I found this recipe and was bowled over by it.You must try one, if you haven't already. Although, I cannot say if its as healthy as simple fried quinoa with veggies.
