BMI calculations put me on the high side of overweight at my current weight. when i am a few lbs from being in the "healthy weight" section i have a 6 pack. does this site support an alternative to this outdated/inaccurate system?

What do you mean by "support"? If you are looking for ways to calculate body fat, there are many different ways to measure it, some more accurate than others. If you want to use FitDay to help you lower your body fat, then yes, it's a great tool.

So to clarify, Premium membership has a way to track BMI info? I am in somewhat similar situation (only wish I had a 6-pack :P), but my body fat % is quite lower then BMI would indicate.

BMI and Body Fat % are two totally different measurements. Both of those can easily be "tracked" with an excel spread sheet, a word document or even a pen and note pad. Regular members may or may not be able to track BF%, I don't remember but I know as a premium member you can track BF%. See below.

This should not stop anyone from wanting to track their own BF % however. There are calipers, available for cheap, that will help you determine BF. Then it's an easy matter of recording the information yourself. ![]() Here's a calculator I found that will help you determine Body Fat % and Lean Body Mass: http://www.scientificpsychic.com/fitness/diet.html
