Question fitday clock

Hi guys,
I'm new to this website - and the time indicated by the website that I am operating on is about 5 hours faster than the time is in actuality where I am.

For example: It's currently 9:30am on Saturday 02/20, but according to this website it is 2:30pm on Saturday 02/20.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?

Thanks!
mailey

I think it posts Greenwich Mean Time for everyone as a default. According to the times you posted, you are GMT minus five hours.

I don't know if there's a way to change it; it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense given that there are folks from other time zones and countries on here, so if it posted our accurate time, it wouldn't mean much to them.

hey Cassie,
ah i see.

I've used other 'sites, though, that each member is able to re-adjust the time to their time zone. Personalize it, I suppose. I'm just thinking it'll mess up my calorie-burn calculator for each day because I may not enter an exercise/food consumption until say 9pm, but according to this 'site it would log that as tomorrow's activity at 2am. So the calculations won't be accurate, y'know?

I emailed the 'site through the address they provide and asked them about it, so we'll soon see.

Thanks for replying

Actually, I think that at 12 AM my time (EST), the new page pops up for the next day, so that part of it is fine somehow.

Sometimes I don't get to log the last few things in till before bed and it's after midnight. When I pull up I'm in the next day and have to click back to enter in whatever I ate at 9 PM or whatever. But if I get on to do it at, say 11:30, it's still the same day. So no worries with that; it's just the message boards time that's off.

Default set the time

You can change your time setting in your profile. Click on the 2nd tab 'Profile' and there's a drop down where you can select your time zone.

Default no clock today

yesterday I joined FitDay and I know that I had that drop down timezone selector in my profile yesterday, but I just went there to change somethings and the timezone selector is missing. Maybe they only give us that option when we join? If I find it again I'll post it here for you. It's so weird

I also looked for the drop down. Who wants to post for the next day? Now all my stats are a day too early!

Find the small banner above the first post on this page, click on 'Quick Links', choose the 'Edit Options'. From there scroll down to 'Date & Time Options'. Pick your time zone from the drop down and the correct DST (Daylight Savings Time) option for you. Hope this helps!!
