Default Fitday calorie count

I write in everything I eat that day. How close is the calorie count? I even add some, but it never goes as high as my count. Example I figure my dinner out at 615 calories and fitday at 455. Could I be that far off? I have been figuring my daily calorie count at 1200 and fitday figure is around 850. 60% protein/25% fat/15% carbs.

Not sure I understand your question correctly. Are you saying you are counting calories manually and they are higher than the Fitday food items that you are selecting? If so just enter the ingredients seperately or create custom foods to reflect what you eat. If I have misunderstood please clarify.
