Default backup file is empty in windows 7

Hello all,

I am using:
FitDay Version: 1.0.0.6
FitDay Build: 1761
Operating system: windows 7 64 bit.

When I back up the fbk file, then restore it, none of my entries are there. If I copy the fdy file to another drive (to back it up), then try to view the contents, there is nothing in the file, or the latest entries are not there.

When I try to back up to the original folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\FitDay),
it shows the old backup file is there but there is a small icon beside the file (looks like a padlock).

I really want to back up my file in case of data loss.

Can anyone help me?

I don't want to upgrade to the latest version so please don't suggest that. The version I have is working fine for what I need.
