No Volume measurements?

I used fitday a few years ago and decided to go back to it - however, why in the world would they remove volumetric measurements and opt for only weight measurements and "serving"?
I use both, but some things are MUCH more convenient by volume.
It's a simple program to adjust it - but more so, it USED TO BE HERE. Who would decide to get rid of it?
Is there a way to access the old fitday? lol

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but have you tried the drop down box next to the amount? On most of them I have seen you can change the serving size.

I have the same experience. I swear I used to be able to select from a wider variety of measures including volume measures (cup, tbs, tsp, etc.).

I know how to change from serving to weight, that isn't a problem. It's when I use a cup of something or a tbsp of something but don't know how much that weighs and it's not in it's directory. I can toy around with calculations on my own and figure it out, but really, why would I use fitday if I have to do all of that.

I had the same problem with adding a custom food. For some reason, avacado was not in the vegetable list. When I added in the nutritional information, The only option for serving size is 1. No cups, grams, tablespoons or anything. Just 1 :)

I think volume measurements would be useful, too.

Avocado is in the database, by the way. It is a fruit, though, not a vegetable. Also, if you use the search feature, you have to spell it right, unfortunately. I get caught by that all the time, LOL!

Been wondering this too. I can use volume measurements from my old custom foods created before this feature was removed, but not for anything new. Can someone from Fitday explain why they took this out, and whether it's possible to get it back?
