Keep getting logged out of "Discussions"
 

What's going on today? What happened to the "indefinite" log in to Discussions? I keep getting auto logged out. It's been happening all day. :mad:

And yes, I've cleared all my cookies and it's still happening.

Anybody else having this issue?

Since nobody else responded it looks Iike it was only me.

Well things have been normal today. What was going on yesterday with the constant log outs (about 10 times) is anyone's guess.

I don't know. I almost always have to log in but it did seem a litle worse yesterday (on my phone).

Maybe they were working on the site to try to get the avatars to work. :eek:

Just logged me out. i was logged in, and scrolling through. Was about to post and it logged me out. WTF?:confused:

It must be the tequila talking. :D

There ya go! The same has been happening to me. I can even be logged onto the site, having just come back on after about an hour, but after hitting "New Posts" it tells me I'm NOT logged in after all (even though when I first return and check it says I'm logged in).

Well at least I know it wasn't something I said and someone is screwing with just me, LOL. This all started after I had some harsh words for the way "Feedback and Support" has been operating with paltry Admin oversight.

Vito, I don't think it's anything personal to you. It would take too much work to single you out. :)

LOL Mike I was just messin'. But the thought did occur to me. Hey, at least the site is moving in a direction, even if it is in reverse right now. :D

One time on the job I DID have a network admin screw with me. But I got even. It wound up costing him his job.

Guys I think avatars are turned on -- have you tried?

I never took mine down. It just shows where the Avatar should be.

Hey Paul, I just tried and I got the same message that I've been getting all along: "Unable to save image". It meets all the requirements for size in pixels and KB but it's unable to save. So it looks like a permissions issue with the FD host server.

Everyone would really appreciate this getting fixed and could only benefit this already great site. Thanks.

Well Mike, look at the bright side. At least this new feature of having to log into Discussions many many times, all day long, has now made the avatar issue seem less important to you. ;)

Would you guys give avatars another shot when you get a chance?

Paul, is there something that can be done about the auto logging out from the forum?

It WAS working nicely right up until I started this thread. We could stay logged in all day. Now we have to log in constantly, all day long.
