I did some searching around. What I found out is no you can’t pm anyone I got an error message saying ‘administrator has disabled private messaging.’

As far as feedback and support, in my opinion there is not enough presence of the Moderators or Admin. In fact it's just about nonexistent. The spamming as of late is out of control, I, along with many others have reported the threads time and time again. Rarely does anything get done. This last time, it wasn't until I have had enough, tried to contact everyone that I could with no resolve... then finally had to contact our advertising dept. I basically asked what would our PAYING advertisers think about our Mods and Admin letting people advertise (spam) for free. Which is what was happening.

Some things that I feel would turn this board around in a positive way.

1) Active mods and admin is a must! I talk about it here. http://www.fitday.com/fitness/forums...rs-heaven.html
I'm a moderator on one of the biggest car forums, the amount of traffic that we get is mind spinning! I know it can be a thankless job, but I've offered to lend a hand here as well to help this board out. I'm not going to sit here and bitch and complain, without offering to help make it better. That is b/c I care about what happens to the forum!

2) PM's. We need Private Messaging, it makes any web forum more enjoyable!

3) Avatars would be nice

4) This section here is a plus, feedback and support is key to any forums success... only if something is done with the feedback. Feedback is no good without support!

5) How about an off topic area?

6) What about a supplement section?

The list can go on and on but #1 above is most important! PM's would be nice to, especially if we knew there were active mods that we could PM.

Thank you Mike. You are absolutely right. What good is feedback without support? That is exactly why I was brought on while we are working to put together a moderation team. I appreciate your concerns for this community as I can see it is important to you and everyone else in it. That is why the first order of business I put on my agenda was to delete the spam and create this area for you. Everything else on your list I will speak with my team to see if/when we can get it done.

for the Mods and Admins sake... I don't know if y'all have this or not, but there should be a separate section for Mods and Admin, that regular members can't access. That way y'all discuss how much of a thorn in the ass I can be.

Oh yeah, I know I'm throwing a lot at you... but what about a newbie section. Everyone has their our story and I think it would be a great way for people to introduce themselves.

Thanks for finally stepping up and creating this section. It is frustrating to be reporting spam/advertising over and over and nothing gets done. Email the powers that be and never hearing back. As I said in one of the forums here, it is a MAIN reason I and many others are NOT willing to go premium.

I also have my own site * I do web pages * and moderate another forum as well so I know how critical it is to have some active participation from the owners/mods.

I have also offered to help in the emails I have sent ( and of course never heard back). So I hope the moderation team is formed quickly and stays on top of things.

As for the wish list of one of the posters.. although this forum should include a PM (private messaging) section ( most PhP formatted sites have those built in).. the things like avatars etc is a nice wish but probably is only offered for a premium package.

Anyway, welcome to this forum IBAngel, good luck and I DO hope you plan on banning IP numbers for all those porn and phone ads!
