Lightbulb Nutrition

I am new to this site and love it. One of my favorite tools is being able to input what you have eaten and it shows you how much of the RDA you have consumed and how much you still need for the day. I think if we could actually click on each vitamin/mineral in the RDA chart so that it would show what foods can be eaten to get that vitamin/mineral it would make this tool even better.

It's a good suggestion but it would be more work than being really useful, IMHO.

Mostly everybody gets all the daily RDA's with no problem from their diet, and even if they're not eating healthy a daily multiple will usually take care of any deficit. It's only when there's a deficit that this information would be useful.

The only problem nutrient is Magnesium as far as I can tell, with possibly Phosphorus (if you don't drink soda pop).

If there's a deficit, all you have to do is google what foods are high in that nutrient, and bingo, that's it.
