Smile Journal Entries

I started using FitDay one week ago today and I have been religiously tracking my food. Also every day I have been writing a journal entry, but it seems there is no way to share that entry with anyone else who wants to give or get motivation or give advice to me about what I am doing wrong. If I am the only one who can read it then it isn't going to keep me accountable. For example yesterday in my journal I made myself a promise to try and drink two water bottles (I hate water) but as no one read this other than me, there was no one to kick my butt when I didn't do it. Is it possible to make journal entries public (of course by choice) and does anyone else think this might be something they would like also. I would like to thank anyone in advance who answers this question for me and gives me thier opinion on it. I know I could just copy paste my entries to a new post on the discussion boards but I don't want to clog up the boards with my drivel if people are not interested in reading it.

Dee

As I still haven't figured how to put in a signature here is the end of my first week

Weight lost 6.3 lbs
.5 " off my chest
1.5" off my hips
3" off my waist

Smile Copy of Journal Entries

I wrote this thread in the Forum for questions and suggestions and thought afterwards it might not have been the right place for it so I am copy/pasting it here as I am still a relative newby.

Dee, welcome!

I believe you can share your journal--I know you can share your food and exercise logs. Look in the User CP link and change your private/public settings. It will give you a link you can put in your sig.

Now, speaking of sigs, you can created/edit yours in the User CP link. You can also add an avatar if you so desire.

As to motivation and accountibility, many folks here post in the forums for that very purpose. I know there is a daily motivation thread in the Women's Only subforum that you might want to join.

Regards,
Michael

Thanks again Micheal, I did check and everything can be shared except journal entries. I will take some time now to work on my signature.

Looks good, and you're quite correct--the "journal" can't be shared. I pretty much hang all my "dirty laundry" out to air in the forums, so I never really though about the journal.

Regards,
Michael

Click user Cp, the option will be there.

Dunno about making the Journal public.
