Sodium content of chicken

I never had a reason to question this. But the cardiac lady at the hospital told me that 4 oz. of chicken breast (baked no skin) was 42 mg. This is in contrast to the 400+/-mg. listed on this site. I have to keep track of several things for her ... including sodium. Now I wonder if I can trust the site for these measurements.

she is probably referring to raw, not prepared. If you feel her number is correct you can edit it since I don't believe we offer "raw chicken".

Here is the link for raw chicken--it says a "breast w/bone and skin removed" is 153 mg of sodium, which sounds pretty much in line with your dietician.
