I notice that when I search for 'quinoa,' the result shows me that a cup is around 600 calories. It should be edited to show that this is uncooked quinoa (not the way to eat quinoa, BTW). Cooked quinoa, according to nutritiondata.self.com, has around 200 calories per cup.
It's a high-protein grain. Seeing this and counting this way probably discourages dieters from using it!
I noticed the same thing..........And there is a huge difference between the volumes of raw and cooked quinoa. I noticed that there is no cooked option in fitday and so I had to enter it as a custom food.
