Default Removing Custom foods

My custom foods have become cluttered with items I no longer use. How do I remove them from my "Custom Foods" list.

Click on the food, then click "Delete This Food"

When you do that, what happens to the nutritional data for days where that food was used? Is it still present there but not available in the "Custom Foods" list to add moving forward, are the nutrients cached somewhere and still put in for totals or will the metrics for that day now no longer include those foods?

Man I'm seeing a lot of old familiar "faces" pop up today. To answer your question, I'm not sure. I would look into it but I haven't logged any custom foods lately and I've been super busy. If I get a chance I will try though.
