sugar alcohols

How should sugar alcohols be reported when creating a custom food? As "alcohol" or not at all. Curious because I know you subtract them from carbs to get net carbs. Thanks!

You don't have to report sugar alcohols at all for diet purposes. They are not digestible by the human body and are excreted.
