Default need to gain weight, wrong place?

Hi there,

I just installed my account, but I want to increase my weight from 70 kg (current weight) to 80 kg (goal), my height is 1.85 m. I perform a gym training everyday, just need to keep track of what I eat, increase muscular weight, etc... :P

But if I put a higher value than my current weight, the box turns red, maybe I'm in the wrong website?

thanks, regards

Default Goal Weight

Hello,

Since Fitday was designed solely for losing weight, the option to enter a higher goal weight is not available.

Default having exact same issue

I'm currently 64kg or so, and am aiming for now, to be about 70kg. I have a fairly low body fat %, and my main goal at the moment is to put weight on.

Tried to put a higher weight in and it wouldn't let me.

Your goals are conflicting. If you're trying to gain weight it's hard to bulk and cut fat at the same time. This is because while you are trying to get bigger, you need to eat a lot, you need to have more calories let over, not burn more. So when you go to bed your body has those building blocks to build bigger. So I would say eat a lot, bulk up then cut. I'm 175 lbs right now going for 200 lbs and I gained about 10-15 lbs so far. Not all muscle but that's part of bulking.

The question's been asked often. I believe the only thing you can do is ignore the goal that reflects weight loss (if one is set) and just watch your own progress on the weight chart that is provided. Good luck!

Default Gaining weight

I would love it if the site allowed you to set a goal weight higher than your current weight. Not everyone in the world is trying to lose weight.
