On a side note, don't put too much faith in the calorie readouts from the elliptical, some are known to overestimate by up to 30%. Also, the number of calories you actually burn depends a lot on your "form" (like how often you use the handles and so forth), your height/weight/age ratio, and your overall fitness level. When in doubt, underestimate. All these numbers should be taken with a grain of salt.
