Running on treadmill
Well I been trying some outdoor running and its been "ok" but not pleasant. got up to 1.75 miles outside maybe a 2 miler. But today went to the gym and ran quite happily for 30mins which was over 2 miles.
I know running is supposed to be a great weight loss/toning exercise. Does this apply to treadmill running too does anyone know? :confused::confused: Sara 9.13pm |
I jog/walk on the treadmill and I think it's even better than running outside for me. A treadmill keeps track of your pace and it keeps you going at a steady pace with can keep your heart rate going at a steady pace. If you're concerned about toning up your leg muscles, use a treadmill with an incline at a slow pace. A slow pace will make sure it doesn't hurt your joints as much, but you'll still burn fat and build muscle.
