Gonna try a "Double Header" in a couple of weeks...
I've signed up for the American Parkway 5k on 4/30 and I'm also gonna sign up for a 5 mile run (30th Annual Fair Oaks Sun Run) the following day.
The 5 miler has some gnarly elevation changesmy calves are gonna kill me.
The weather should be perfect and both runs are along the river -should be an awesome weekend

Is the American Parkway the run on the bike path along the American River? If so, I used to run and ride that trail when I was working in Sac. for a while. I really liked that path.
