is there a way to enter cals burned at the gym?

Hi there! I just fired up my fitday account yesterday again and today I am trying to enter the cals I burned at the gym (500..but split between the elliptical and uphill treadmill) Is there somewhere I can just enter the cals I burned?? The elliptical is not even an option in the menu so I am trying to pick running and then estimating a pace...omg....going crazy!!

Thanks soo much!

you can use anything that uses about the same calories as the elliptical for the given amount of time.

Hi Janis,

I find that "stair-treadmill ergonometer" gives a very very close estimate for me for the elliptical... for instance, in a typical one hour session on the treadmill I usually burn about 630 calories; stair-treadmill ergonometer gives me something like 615 in that same time period, and I usually just add a minute or two to give the "cals burned" number as close as I can to 630 :)

ok thanks people!! I was really hoping that I was missing a "enter your calories burned manually" button but I will do what I have to do! Thanks again!

I hope that we'll have that soon but if/when that does come people have to be careful as to how they enter it.
