Default help please

i have a herniated disc and its really hard to walk and/or stand. i cant to neither for more than 10-15 min. i doing stretching and going to the gym. im bascially on stationary bike and eplictal mashine (kinda) (i hope i spelled that right) the bike kinda help. my husband graduation is apr 9. and i want to be walking right then. can it happen and what exercises do i need to do to make sure that happens by apr 9

Hi there
OK first up I'm not a doctor and have no medical training!
I was just wondering if you have tried swimming? Is that something you could ask your doctor about? I know a lot of people with back problems say it really helps. However, you'd want to be sure your technique is ok and not doing more harm than good.
