Turkey Day Runs...

Anybody out there do any Turkey runs yesterday?

I ran in one that had an approx. 25,000 people participate (most were walkers tho)
It was a record cold day for my area, at race time, it was about 39*-that was kinda a mental block for me (I ran in shorts), but once the race started, the cold was the last thing on my mind.

I ran the 5k in 23:29, not a personal record but it's better than I thought I would do.
It's kinda surreal to run in such a large crowd....

This was my 10th race since 7/3/10, I'm shooting for 12 by the end of year.

No, we didn't walk our Turkey Trot. I signed us up, but by the time the race came round I was belly up with the worst case of stomach flu I've ever had. Maybe next year....

Yeppers, here's what's left in my neck of the woods-
12/4 5k Trail Run
I was going to run a leg of the CIM on 12/5, but that fell through...
12/11 Police Athletic League sponsored 5k

I'm already planning my 2011 Race sched.....ya, the running bug bit me good

It was raining here...I was prepared for cold but not rain, so I didn't run yesterday. I did do 3.5 miles this morning, though, and I'm going to do an Elf Trot next weekend.
