I have been doing a little bit of research on this recently and am fairly intrigued.
Has anyone every tried it? What did you think?
If by carb cycling you mean adjusting daily carbs based on activity levels, then I've had pretty good results with that. I go by "food as fuel," so if I'm just going to be around the house I stay away from simple starches as best I can. If I'm going to be doing some heavy lifting I might add some rice or other starch.
What I don't do is follow some complex bodybuilding carb cycling protocol. They won't help at this point and they're controversial even at elite bodybuilding levels - so I would stay away from them and focus on the basics.
