Facebook support group for people on Atkins
If you are interested in online support and information for people using the Atkins Nutritional Approach to get healthy (and lose weight), you are welcome to join my facebook group. Search for Lo-Carb Fat Camp.
Because weight-loss requires dealing with psychological issues and many of our members did not want their posts going into the newsfeed from their home page, it's a closed group and you will have to request to join. There are two administrators and someone will add you to the group within a couple of hours.
Not all of the people are following the ANA, but most are. I don't allow unhealthy or non-Atkins opinions to stay on the board, so please keep that in mind when posting. It's not that I don't believe you have the right to your opinion...it's just that I don't want the people new to Atkins being confused as to what is recommended by the doctor and what is personal opinion.
We have found it to be a great place for support and ideas--we have a ton of albums, which is where we post most of our recipes. I ask that you start an album and place your pics in your album each time you post one. We put the recipe itself in the comments. When we are cruising for new recipes, it's much easier to cruise the pictures than the documents.
Thanks!

PS: FitDay is the go-to for me--even on the facebook page. I have found FitDay to be the most user-friendly (in spite of the lack of an Android app) of the tracking sites available. I make sure to recommend it (and say why I recommend it) each time our members discuss tracking programs.

I've added the tag "facebook" to your thread. Keep up the good work, volleyballgranny.

Thanks, VitoVino! Am I allowed to say the name of our facebook support group page? It's spedifically for people who follow the ANA (Atkins Nutritional Approach).
