South Beach Question
Does anyone know what the macro nutrient calorie pie chart should look like when you're on South Beach? Are we suppose to be getting our calories around 33% for each? I'm on Phase 1.
I re-read (skimmed) the Supercharge book last night looking for something about it and didn't see anything.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I've read The South Beach Diet, but it's been a while. I grabbed my copy to take a look, but don't see where Dr. Agatston breaks out the macronutrients for Phase 1.
You could take the back way into that information, though. He provides meal plans for each day. If you input those into the food tracking page and see how the macronutrients average out, that might answer your question. Since he provides recipes, you could create custom foods on that page.
It would be a time consuming, though... I think if you stick with the meal plans and his rules about foods to eliminate during Phase 1, you'd see how that averaged out in practical terms.
I only have the Super Charged SB book and a SB cookbook.
When I have time, I'll plug in a day of his recipes/meal plan to get a pie chart. You're right - that will be a lot of work! But it seems like the only way to get that pie chart, unless anyone here is eating exactly what he wrote in his meal plan. If so, please let me know what your pie chart looks like. Thank you! :)
