Obviously not all diets work for all people. No one diet works for everyone. We may disagree with the way some people choose to lose weight, but my point is that this is a brand new member, presumably on here for some camaraderie and support, and seeing a post like the one above is one good way to make sure she doesn't come back, and that's not really the spirit of these boards.
