Hi everyone! I'm a 24 year old female. I weight about 277lbs. I haven't purchased a scale yet, but will be doing so very soon. I went to the doctor about 2-3 months ago and was weighed. I also retain fluid terribly, but have been taking HCTZ (bp medication that is also a diuretic) since then. I'm sure that'll make at least a slight difference in the number on the scale.
I'm at the very beginning of my weightloss journey. I've tried to lose weight waaaay too many times. I'm ready to stop trying and actually obtain longterm success. My goal weight is somewhere between 148-170 pounds. I am a half inch away from being 5'10. I suffer from PCOS, (polycystic ovary syndrome) which makes weightloss an even bigger challenge for me. I have a long walk ahead of me (no pun intended) but I've got myself a new pair of shoes. Lets do this!
