I am 51, married, 3 kids, 2 grandchildren and do day care out of my home so I know what you about having no real friends. I have friends I just don't do anything with them. It's hard to relate to them when I am home with kids all day. About eight months ago I started taking exercise classes and found that I really enjoy them. I also have been meeting new people and making friends. Starting the class was hard because I wasn't used to that much exercise but I stuck with it and am getting stronger/toned now. May be something you could do to get you out of the house and meet like minded friends. It sounds like you know what you want so it's just a matter of finding what works for you. I have found fitday is a great place to find motivation and help if you have any question.
