The last thing you want to do is starve yourself - your body will go into survival mode and you'll stop burning any calories. The best thing is to eat sensibly (several small meals if you can, or balanced meals if you are doing a full meal and sensible snacks). Add in at least 30 minutes of exercise each day - yes, walking DOES count - and you should notice a difference.
