I have done a low-carb diet on and off a couple of times, so I'm familiar with the format. I understand that the paleo thing doesn't let you have dairy, which seems restrictive, but that may be the only difference to what I've done with the "protein power" Eades diet.
The toughest part is the first few days. If you can take it one day at a time those first few days, it definitely gets easier.
"Low carb friends" web forum has the best low carb recipe collection I've ever found. Go there for recipe ideas if you are allowed. Try to have some sort of high protein or low carb snacks ready daily, as that is a tough part.... finding something to nom on that's not carby. Good luck!
