Hi i'm Jennifer and i'm new here.
I've struggled with my weight for the majority of my life. I had my first baby 4 and a half months ago...at my last dr appointment before baby was born I weighed in at 211...and a few days ago I finally got up the courage to get on the scale again...and couldn't believe my eyes when the scale said 218.
Sooo not only have I not lost ANY weight since my daughter was born, but I packed on a few extra pounds since then.
I'm really happy I finally decided to step on the scale and face reality because since then i've been utterly determined to make a change which includes eating healthy and exercising daily. I've been doing great so far and feeling pretty good. I'm NOT going on some crazy super strict diet that I know I won't be able to follow - i'm simply eating more veggies and fruits and limiting the bad stuff...no more chips/junk food and limiting bread as well. My goal is to lose 68lbs by May 1 which is my birthday.
