Talking Weight VERSUS Natural Ovulation = Baby!!

Hello everyone, not exactly sure if this is for me but going to give it a go...since were basically all in the same boat.
I'm 38 years old and grossly overweight, although my boyfriend loves me for who I am, he has set me up stone incentives!
I recently went for a consultation for IVF that we were paying privately, unfortunately that meeting was a reality check and as upsetting as it was, I am determined.... my consultant assures me that I won't need to go back to his clinic if I lose 5/6 stone I will be able to concieve naturally, as my weight at the moment is affecting me ovulating properly... so I'd love to be able to support someone in the same situation as me and vice versa

I do not, obviously, share your situtation but WELCOME anyway. There is lots of knowledge, support and motivation available. Though there are many different reasons we are here we are all working toward being healthier and fitter. Feel free to jump into some of the other threads (like the '7 Day Motivational' thread stickied at the top of the Women's Section) and you're sure to find some friends.
