Maybe you need to consider allowing yourself 1 cupcake once every week or two. Like mmbrown said, that may be enough so you don't feel like you have deprived yourself. A lot of the lifestyle change is a mental battle. I have the attitude that I can eat anything. I just can't indulge frequently or in large quantities. Everything (even cupcakes) in moderation, lol. You are best equiped to gauge which approach works the best for you. Good luck and stay strong.
