When I was losing at a more rapid pace, I measured every week but only logged it once a month, also on that day I took a photo of me in my bathing suit from the rear. Now that I am not losing at a rapid pace, just trying to get those last 5 pesky pounds off, I don't measure as much, maybe once a month with the tape measure, and log it if there is a change.
Initially I HATED those first measurements, but looking back, I am glad I did them. They inspired me on the weeks that the scale didn't.
