Tracking/Logging your food can be a real eye opener. Just track for a couple of weeks and then go back and look at what you can change or reduce. Find your Base Metabolic Rate (BMR) (if you fill out your profile Fitday will do it for you). Then just try to eat 500 calories less than that everyday. This will only generate about a 1 lb loss per week but thats 52 lbs a year! Decreasing your calories and increasing your walking will make increase the rate. Welcome, and congratulations on take the first steps toward a fitter you!
