The food listed in fitday do have the carb amounts listed. You can also make custom foods that you like and eat the most for your diet with your own carb count. Hope this helps. My husband is diabetic too so I know it can be hard but it is doable.

I am a diabetic as well, FitDay has been such a great help to me. I count calories, and keep track of my carbs here also. I have found that eating brown carbs instead of the processed white ones, PLUS increasing the amount of protein I eat (I include it at every meal AND every snack) Has been a great help to my glucose readings. My A1C went from 7.2 to 6.4 in 6 months. I feel great. Honestly, I didnt realize that I didnt feel well, until I started feeling better!
