Default hello all

I just found this site and am begining again on this journey, it has been life long, when I started June 3 2012 I weighed in at 361, today I am at 349, I am a 52 y/o male and I have lost 80 lbs 3x in my life and pout it all back on and then some, My health is showing signs of failure, High BP ( I am on Meds) my sugar is going up and my trigycerides are elevated, now its time to fight ! so here I am, I like the outdoors , cycling. fishing, photography, I build boats, I just have to control what I stuff in my mouth !

You got your wake up call and you are ready to fight. You can do it, one day at a time. Good luck on your journey to good health.

Welcome! Sounds like you are off to a great start! Slowing down what goes in your mouth is the toughest part. I'm 15-16 months into my journey and still battle that one almost daily.

Thank you! I have been within 2-3 lbs of where I am right now for almost 2 months now it seems. Time to kick it up another notch and get this fat moving again.

change something its your body being use to who you are now,, on one of my last 80lb losses I would eat something I hadn't for awhile ( not anything bad) just different,, and it faked it into a loss!

I usually lose about 10-20 lbs then get stuck for a month or two. Then I change up my exercise and get going again. I just figure if I can hold within 2-3 lbs during the plateaus that is just teaching my body to maintain and it needs to know how to do that too.
