Smile Get your Metabolism going

First thing in the morning before you eat, drink a cup of hot water with 1/4 lemon and a big pinch of cianne pepper. It taste pritty good and jump starts your metabolism. You can also drink it durning the day to subpress your appetite. The more pepper you use the less sweets you want.

Maybe that works, I must try, but if you want to speed up your metabolism best way is to cut your daily meals in at least 4 or 5. It would be gvery good if you could eat your breakfast early as you can. If you are not used to it will be hard in the begining but when it becomes your habit you will see benefits.( for example if you are working or you go somewere and you dont get chance for your usual breakfast, so best combination is that breakfast is first thing in the morning) It will be easier when you begin not to eat at least 2 or 3 hours before sleep time. So put your 4 to 5 meals between you woke up and 2, 3 hours before sleep. If you are struggling with weight you can reduce your total amount of food. Of course NO FAST FOOD, try to learn about heathy food, and what each food contains.

good luck!!

Melissa,

I know that you mentioned pretty specific schedule in another post about timing your eating. Could provide some reports or logic on how eating in this manner will lead to weight loss please.

Being a professional at this (your other post) I am sure that you can back up what you are suggesting. I am curious as to how timing your meals can lead to weight loss....

Verdy,

Your suggestions sound interesting on the morning drink...I will definately look into that. I know Cardio also is a good means to jump start your metabolism, but I can't do it first thing in the morning.

Hope this is true...I will respond back with what I find...

I read what you and another member wrote in my thread. I didn't want to waste my time answering.
It wasn't schedule, it was just advice or tip from my point of view. I didn't bold "simple" in my thread, but I wrote it.That was my opinion, how healthy lifestyle should look and belive me I speak with other people and i know their.
It is not about timing your meals. Point was, do not eat just before you go to sleep( I know how habits can be dificult to pass. I had that bad habit.) Eat several meals, not 1, not 2 but several. You can go deeper and eat exact amount of calories, exact amount of carbon hydrates, proteins, vitamines, minerals... but that is not simple any more. I know, from specialist(macrobiotic) that breakfast is very important, as it is to have several smaler meals instead of 1 or 2 big. All I wrote is forget pills, "overnight" weight loss ( I know lot of people who eat once a day thinking thay eat less, they must lose weight. Some of them will, some wont, but they will harm themself. Some are on meat diet, or cabbage diet. Those are not healthy diets, you know that.)
I wrote all of this once and it didn't post, something went wrong with the server. I had to rewrite whole post so it is not same and what I first wrote was nicer. Never mind.

Verdy

I must try your tip. If it comes on my mind in the morning.

Melissa - I have found at least 10 other web sites where you post exactly the same text (cut and paste) in the last 6 weeks alone and you focus on you favourite tea web site. Promoting it at every opportunity. You failed to answer direct questions regarding your actual qualifications and about the evidence behind your favourite tea. I suggest you do so otherwise your credibility is shot.

For everyone else - do what I did - google "teateateas.com" and see the repeated posts by melissa and friends promoting her favourite tea web site. This is blatant advertising.

Yes I did copy paste on some boards, 'couse I didn't have time to write same thing again. So what? But I repeat, my point was not on tea. I don't know about any other M's. That was just my opinion, my suggestion and I've discussed it with other people before, many of tham tought it was good. I realy don't want to mess this board any more with posts like this. Think what you want.

Sorry Verby, this is your thread, it is ruined like mine,
I tried your tip this morning, I had breakfast, now I'm waiting to be hungry again.

Back to the topic of the OP...adding cayenne pepper to your water for a metabolism boost. (I couldn't care less about spammers and choose to just ignore them! )Personally, I can't stomach the taste of cayenne mixed in my water...it's some seriously nasty stuff and IMHO belongs on food not in beverages. I was really happy to find out that you can also pick up capsules of cayenne pepper at the health food store...or even Wally world. They have way more capsaincin (sp?? the HOT stuff!) in them than you'd ever be able to actually use otherwise. I'm not sure if it's actually doing anything or not, but I do know that I break a sweat about a half hour after I take the tablets...so maybe it is. Just something neat to know.
