New on here!
I have always been neutral on working out and eating healthy. This year I have decided to take control and be more than neutral. LOL! I do Zumba 3 times a week starting 2 months ago. I have been eating all natural foods for about 2 months now. I have not seen as much progress as I feel I should.
I am 5'7"
Start weight= 186
Weight to date= 179
Goal weight = 145
I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I am hoping to recieve some good advice on workout plans as well as eating healthy plans.
Thank you so much!!

Hi brandy,
Well, you have lost 7 pounds, so you are on the right track. Have you been logging your foods faithfully? I suspect that a couple of tweeks to your diet - a few less calories - will do the trick.
And BTW well done on picking up the exercise routine

I've been a member here on and off over the past 4 years, and until this year, saw my scale bounce up and down... mostly up!! It wasnt until this past January, that I became really diligent about counting every calorie and measuring my food. Its also the first time that I've been able to lose weight consistently.
I quickly learned by calorie counting/measuring that, in the past I was eating about 500-750 more calories a day than I thought I was. My scale wasnt showing my efforts because it was taking me about a month to have a 3500 calorie deficit, and by then, I'd just give up because I couldnt figure out why it wasnt working....
Hang in there. Don't give up. Be really diligent about it for a few days, and see what calorie number you are eating. I know it is a HUGE pain at first, but if you stick with it, I promise you it gets easier.... currently I eat about 1500-1600 calories a day, and I lose about 1 pound per week...
GOOD LUCK!!
