We've got great weight loss tips located in the thread I mentioned, hopefully you found them informative.

Like this: My wife gets off work at 11:30 and usually hits the drive thru somewhere. The thing is she usually gets a salad, etc. or maybe just a little snack. Nothing really bad. Me though, I want the big burger or two small burgers. One thing, I shouldn't be eating that crap. The other thing, I shouldn't be eating that late at night.
It sounds like you desire to interact on a more personal level. Clearly you are asking people for common sense advice, which you already seem to possess.
