Hi, I struggled with that a lot! I think the best thing I did was to purge my house of snacks and put everything away right after serving myself dinner (before eating). I keep my hands busy with crafts at night while watching TV. With time, you can retrain yourself. I am still tempted at times. But, now I find that if I do have something it doesn't settle well and it's not worth it. I wish you all the very best.
