I don't have any magic number for you. But I will tell you, starting is the biggest hurdle. So Congratulations.
For me a reasonable goal to start was 1/2 pound a week. Dang, doesn't seem like much, but it was doable for me and I have kept it off which is the important part. Granted many weeks I lost more than a pound a week, but the 1/2 pound a week was the goal.
I'm currently trying to lose 15 pounds by Easter, which is a hard goal for me, but I will try and do my best. Want to join me? A few other ladies are trying this too.
