Talking Almost at the finish line......

Hello all!!
I haven't posted in a bit, but wanted to update on my progress to date. I have officially made it into the 120's. My ultimate goal when I started in January at 205 pounds, was 120, but then I re-evaluated and reset my goal to 125 when i got into the 140's. This morning I stepped on the scale and it showed 128.6 and I think I am still ok with the 125 ultimate goal.I thought this day would never come, but here I am still going strong with only 3.6 more pounds to go. I am so damn proud of myself, and the fact I stuck to it. I love everything that comes along with the weight loss as well. I can now go into a store and not cry when the cute clothes they have don't fit, and I can now pick up a size small shirt or a size 7 jeans, not try them on take them home, and they freaking fit. I will never be miserable again and regain everything I lost. I feel healthy and fabulous. I looked at my old pictures and cried, and then smiled knowing that those pictures give me the motivation to never be that size again!! I did it healthy and smart and lost maybe a pound and a half tops per week, but I know it took me 9 months to lose 76 pounds and boy aren't they kidding when you get close to your goal that its so much harder to come off,but i didn't lose it too quick and i know how to maintain. Fitday has helped me in so many ways, and i hope everyone finds success. I now have to get used to the idea of being skinny again, because even though this fits and the scale shows what it shows, I get scared that I am just dreaming and will wake up with that 76 pounds back on. Sounds dumb, but i just gotta adjust myself mentally. I couldn't have done it without the support of my husband, who after I told him I hit 128, he asked me so its 125 right you want to get to? I said yeah, and he said then you just need to slow it down and start just doing maintenance type so you keep off what you lost. I am just so grateful and my Halloween costume this year? Oh I don't have to wear a plus size costume, I can be a naughty nurse in a size small with the husband being the doctor.....wish everyone success....and i will continue to be on Fitday to help others out on their journey to healthiness...

Gotta love the naughty nurse!! Wooowhooo. Congrats!!! Great job, you look great.
It is harder the closer you get to your goal weight and maintaining can be just as hard but it's nice when you get down and can fit in the cute clothes.

Do you want me to do a side by side comparison shot for you?

Congrats on your success! You look marvelous!

If you do dress up as a nurse you may want to consider taking a defibulator along with you since you're bound to cause some cardiac arrests.
