I am slowly transitioning from a calorie restriction approach to a lower carb approach. I've lost just over 50 lbs with calorie restriction, exercise, and just better/healthier food choices, but I think I've reached a plateau. I'm also under a doctor's supervision taking a prescription appetite-suppresant, which means when I go off of it, I need to be very careful about satiety.... which is one reason I'm looking into low carbs... I only have 20 lbs. left to go - and then I need to maintain my new, healthy lifestyle!
